The only information involved in a visit is the standard technical data any web server generates, plus a couple of third-party resources (fonts and icons) your browser loads directly.

Like effectively every website, our web server automatically logs basic technical information for each request it receives — things like your IP address, browser/user-agent string, the page requested, and the time of the request. This happens at the infrastructure level; it isn't something OtakuAthlete builds or reads day-to-day.

This data is used only for keeping the site secure, delivering pages correctly, and troubleshooting problems (for example, tracking down the cause of an error). We do not use server logs to build advertising or marketing profiles, and we do not combine them with any other data source to identify individual visitors.

We can't state an exact retention period here, since that depends on our hosting provider's own log configuration rather than a schedule OtakuAthlete sets directly. Logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the security and operational purposes above, not indefinitely.

Every page on OtakuAthlete.com loads two third-party resources directly from their providers, the same way most modern websites do:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — supplies the typefaces used across the site.
• Font Awesome, via Cloudflare's cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — supplies the icons used across the site.

Because these load directly from Google's and Cloudflare's own servers, your browser sends them a request the same way it would for any external resource — which means those providers can see technical request data (like your IP address) for that request, under their own respective privacy policies. OtakuAthlete does not receive, store, or have access to that data. We have not embedded any analytics, tracking, or advertising script from these or any other provider.

OtakuAthlete.com does not set any cookies, and does not use browser local storage or session storage to remember anything about you. There is no session system and no login, so there is nothing to keep signed-in. The Characters/universe search and filter tools on this site run entirely in your browser and don't save or transmit your search terms anywhere.

As of now, OtakuAthlete.com currently has no user accounts, no analytics software (no Google Analytics or equivalent), no advertising or ad networks, and no email newsletter. If you email us directly (see Contact below), we'll have your email address and whatever you tell us — that's a direct, deliberate exchange you initiate, not something the site collects automatically.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose. We have no advertising business and no data broker relationships.

OtakuAthlete.com is not directed at children, and since the site doesn't collect personal information through any form, account, or sign-up, we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, through the site itself.

This policy describes the site as it works today. If we ever introduce user accounts, analytics, advertising, a newsletter, or any other feature that processes personal data differently than what's described above, we will update this policy before that feature goes live — not after.
